Agne is a trainee patent attorney working towards UK and European patent attorney qualifications. She holds a First Class Honours BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London and an MPhil in Biological Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where she specialised in molecular immunology, infection biology, and genetics.
In her undergraduate studies, Agne investigated viral protease inhibitors and cellular glycosylation using structural biology and protein analysis techniques. She explored molecular interactions and biochemical pathways using methods such as mass spectrometry and fluorescence-based assays.
During her master’s degree, she conducted a research project exploring pathogen–host interactions and the role of MHC-I in immune recognition. She gained advanced experience in molecular biology techniques, in-vitro cell assays, flow cytometry, and studying host susceptibility to disease.
As part of her training, Agne is studying for the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property at Bournemouth University, while assisting with patent drafting, prosecution, and opposition.
